The GPS program provides an excellent background for careers in diplomacy, international public service, in private sector employment dealing with international issues, or for anyone interested in graduate studies in international relations or comparative world politics.
Students may wish to specialize in areas such as International Development, Post-communist Studies, Area Studies (China, India, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe), peace and security, or international political economy -depending on their future interests.
