Network Node

Are you looking to grow your network and build professional relationships with other students and alumni in LA&PS? We are excited to make available the Network Node, an exclusive networking platform, powered by Ten Thousand Coffees, that brings alumni and students together for meaningful career conversations based on their specific interests and goals.

Networking and mentorship have a positive impact on hiring, and having a diverse network helps to accelerate careers and tap into the smart thinking of peers locally and globally.

Whether you are a current student or a proud member of our alumni community, networking just became a whole lot easier. All it takes is a one-hour commitment each month for a coffee chat.

Participating Programs:

  • School of Administrative Studies, all undergraduate and graduate programs
  • School of Human Resources Management, all undergraduate and graduate programs
  • School of Information Technology, all undergraduate and graduate programs

How it works:

  • Create a profile to become a participant
  • You will then receive monthly introductions based on the career interests and goals you have listed on your profile
  • Once matched, either person can suggest a time to chat – in-person, at a coffee shop or online from the comfort of your home

Note: All introductions are sent directly to your preferred inbox. Schedule a time and get an invite directly to your email.

The Network Node makes networking easy. With 85% of jobs being filled via networking and 2.4 million jobs available over the next four years, the time to build your network is now. The top skills companies are looking for across ALL industries, are active listening, speaking, critical thinking and social perception.
