Accepted. Now What?

Whether you are a newly admitted student to the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies or a continuing student currently pursuing your studies, academic advising is an important activity that supports your engagement and success at York University. Student Academic Advising Services is a place that can help you get the information and guidance you need to succeed.

Please remember that advising is a shared relationship between you and the advisor, whether the advisor is from Student Academic Advising Services, an individual departmental or program office or one of the Faculty-affiliated Colleges. Advisors can help by clarifying policies and regulations or by presenting various options. Ultimately, however, the student must accept responsibility for decisions regarding their academic program.
